The X-10 Specter was the most advanced small craft produced by Project X. It Featured advanced Stealth systems, Ion Boosters, Ion/Laser weapons, an Energy Torpedo Launcher. It was also the only non organic ship ever known to carry the Finch-class Secrecy Projector. For all its features though, it was, a test platform, and only a small handful were built. However, after 400 ABY the Templars decided to construct a new inorganic fighter force, and came back to this design.

abstract	The X-10 Specter was the most advanced small craft produced by Project X. It Featured advanced Stealth systems, Ion Boosters, Ion/Laser weapons, an Energy Torpedo Launcher. It was also the only non organic ship ever known to carry the Finch-class Secrecy Projector. The most notorious feature of the Specter was that, if at full speed, it were to activate its Ion Booster at full power, it would accelerate to a speed of 500MGLT, and effectively move beyond the speed of light for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds at Max power the Ion Booster would overheat and shut down, dropping the ship back down to its max speed. This allowed the ship to move quickly over a short distance without relying on a hyperdrive and left no radiation normally associated with Hyperdrives. It also however put a serious strain on the pilot(s). So normally this was used only by the Specters being piloted by Droid Brains. For all its features though, it was, a test platform, and only a small handful were built. However, after 400 ABY the Templars decided to construct a new inorganic fighter force, and came back to this design.
