About: Bloon Status Effects (121)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

Warning: some effects may be horrendous to look at. Massive bloons: Giant bloons that have their outer layer health multiplied by 50. They release the default number X4 of the bloon tier below them on death. If they can attack, they will deal X3 more damage. This can stack with other effects, but a regen bloon will NEVER regen into a Massive bloon. They also have a large hitbox and appear twice as large in every direction. Relentless bloons: Bloons with X5 health and a 5% chance to release ITSELF on death. These also move at 1.2X regular speed, and can stack with other effects.

Shrapnel bloons: Upon being popped, these bloons release 8 frags much like frag bombs. Each frag can deal 5 damage to a tower or pop 1 layer of a bloon/deal 5 damage to the outer shell. This property can stack with any other effect, but cannot be applied to Nuke bloons. A Red Shrapnel bloon that is evolved into a Nuke bloon will lose Shrapnel status. Leader bloons: Bloons that glow with an aura that matches their outermost layer colour. Bloons in an area the size of a 0/0 Tack Shooters range will take 35% less damage. If they can attack, they will deal 35% more damage. If they can attack AND have multiple hitpoints, they will recover 60% of the damage they deal as health. Leader bloon effects cannot stack. Target priority strong favours attacking Leader bloons over any other type of bloon. This property cannot stack with any other effect. Jumper bloons: Bloons that stay at the beginning of the track, wait for a while, then use explosives to propel themselves at a target. A direct hit by a jumper bloon deals damage according to the RBE of the bloon, but destroys the bloon. This property can only stack with effects that increase RBE or health. Cloning Bloon: Possibly the worst type of all. Has a 5% chance of activating the ability Crazy Cloning, and the bloon creates endless duplicates of itself, and if you don't destroy all the bloons fast enough, they multiply until your computer literally crashes from the sheer number of bloons!
