The Boeing AH-56 Seminole is a four-blade attack helicopter developed and delivered in 1976 to the United States Army which is regarded as the industry standard as far as modern helicopters go, having been used extensively since its introduction in Ceylon and Brazil in the 1970s. It is currently the most-flown military attack helicopter in the world, finding its way into the militaries of nearly twenty countries.
