He was born on September 27, 2329 in Indianapolis, Indiana, North America on Earth. His brothers were James and Robert. Raymond married Louise Mary Raymond (née Conway). On September 17, 2351, Carolyn, their first child, was born. Nearly three years later, on July 11, 2354, Jack, their second child, was born. In 2364, this family was living at 4077-234 Indiana Park, Indianapolis. He was a professor of exosociology at Indiana State University. When Clare, a guest aboard the USS Enterprise-D, saw his face for the first time on a computer display she remarked that he was the splitting image of her late husband.
