  • A passive skill, is a skill that is always active. One that you do not have to cast. Examples include Parry, which permanently gives you a chance to parry, or Malice, that permanently increases your critical hit chance. Most passive skills that you have you will find your passive skills in you spellbook.
  • Passive Skills are a type of skill that cannot be actively selected to be used, although it may confer some advantage when learned. Usually, such skills appear in settings with Skill Slots and can be slotted for stat gains. Passive Skills can be 'hidden', meaning they will appear in the slotting menu, but not in the skill menu in battle or in the field. They mostly are, but some are not and will be visible in any menu, but greyed-out and non-selectable.
