Joe Fortunato (Born Jan. 1, 1955, in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired hockey left winger. He played junior hockey for the Kitchener Rangers from 1972 to 1975. The New York Islanders chose him 47th overall in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft and the Cleveland Crusaders picked him 104th overall in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft. Fortunato ended up playing one game for the Edmonton Oilers in the 1976-77 WHA season.
