Grant Lawrence Spackman(August 3, 1921) was in the R.C.A.F. for five years. He was an officer and made thirty-nine trips over Germany. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross, presented to him by the King of England. Grant married E. Beth Tanner and they have 8 children, 7 sons and one daughter. To date they have 36 grandchildren. Grant has spent much of his life serving in the LDS Church. He has served 4 full-time missions, including as Mission President in New Zealand.
