The Beluz Union doesn't recognise the existence of parties within the legislature, and as such, the BLSP doesn't compete in elections in the Union. Rather, they are a support group for the Karav Dynasty. While political parties are not recognised in the legislature, they are allowed in the cabinet. Pro-Karav cabinets are usually filled with BLSP members. When Negunia and Bailon declared secession from the Union, the BLSP decided to compete in elections, there, in the newly formed nation in North Beluzia.
