He had been the captain of the heavy cruiser Daring and was assigned to the newly-formed Admiralty as an assisting admiral by Teodore Poole, Roj's aide. The move was made to "keep an eye on [Elijah] Taylor", whom Roj, Poole, and Fraser never fully trusted. Other galactic events would intervene, though, and at some point in the presavship of Avalyshaar Dusten, Myar resigned from the Admiralty and departed Caspia for the Core Worlds.

He had been the captain of the heavy cruiser Daring and was assigned to the newly-formed Admiralty as an assisting admiral by Teodore Poole, Roj's aide. The move was made to "keep an eye on [Elijah] Taylor", whom Roj, Poole, and Fraser never fully trusted. Myar proved himself quite adept to the task of building a capable navy. He was an advocate for the deployment of warships to the then-tenuous frontier of Caspian and Krittish territory. Fraser was also enabled and encouraged to fashion the starfighter forces into a strong and responsive entity primarily because of Myar's efforts. Lyr Dunwell was a staunch supporter of Myar's, and heavily encouraged his nomination and appointment to one of the Sar Admiral chairs. Other galactic events would intervene, though, and at some point in the presavship of Avalyshaar Dusten, Myar resigned from the Admiralty and departed Caspia for the Core Worlds.
