The Vesarians are a race of reptiloids native to the Inner Rim planet Vesari. At some point before 18 BBY, a group of Vesarian students had matriculated to Imperial City University. When they were deemed dissidents by the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Sector Police under the leadership of a centurion stepped in and killed at least some of the dissidents. Pol Haus, the prefect in charge, later deemed the incident the actions of "rogue elements." The centurion was detained to await trial for the events.
