| - She may be young, but Ressa Quane has been through more than most adults would in a lifetime. Born as Ressa Kae, she's no stranger to nobility, loneliness and war. She has her optimistic moments and has incredible amounts of determination. She won't back down from a fight when there's lives at stake, though like any young adult, she still has her moments when she just needs a hug and someone to say 'Everything will be okay.' The one thing that pains Ressa more than anything is the fact that she was born to a Sith. Raien Keth was once a Dark Jedi who had a liason with Hana Kae, the leader of the Echani of Xextos. Ressa's birth was to ensure Thyrsus and Xextos were forever tied as one... but whatever happened in the past between them meant much of Ressa's life was in hiding or in Exile. She's close to what family she has, however and despite her mother's new husband being human, she cares for him deeply, even taking his last name to honor him.Background
Ressa Quane was born as Ressa Kae to Hana Kae, an echani from Xextos, and Raien Keth, an Echani from Wodenstam, though her parents had split long before she was born when Raien Keth fell to the Darkside of the Force. While growing up, Ressa was often left in the care of others while her mother was away, which led to many attitude issues as a child. Eventually, Ressa met a human named Killian Quane, who was her mother's 'friend' as she called him, knowing she could not talk about her work with him. He was frightening at first, but Ressa soon grew to like him, and she in turn managed to break the severeness he displayed. The bond betwen Killian and Ressa saved her life when her father appeared out of nowhere when she was nine years of age, Ressa's father, Raien, appeared out of nowhere. Initially, Ressa wanted to know him, wanted to know why he wasn't in her life, It all went horribly wrong when Killian arrived and Raien suddenly turned on him. Wanting to protect Killian, Ressa played on the fact that Raien wouldn't hurt her and tried to protect Killian by climbing into his arms. It only served to anger him and saw it as a betrayal when Ressa helped him defeat her father. In the end, Ressa herself managed to turn the tables when she managed to destroy a camera droid her father had sent to follow her. The droid went out of control and badly wounded him. With the battle over, It was up to Ressa to decide his fate, but because she was only a little girl, she couldn't bring herself to kill him, so she allowed him to live, but the knowledge of knowing the next encounter wouldn't be so friendly left Ressa with deep, emotional scars that only deepened with time. At the age of thirteen, Ressa met Raya Keth, her father's twin sister. Still scarred from her father's attack, Ressa was initially hostile toward Raya though over time, Ressa felt sorry for Raya, realizing she was in a difficult position because of Raien's fall. Ressa began to accept Raya as part of her clan and decided to get to know her better, however, when Killian returned, she got less than a frosty welcome, which made Ressa angry. Even after their reconsiliation and her plea to help Raya, Ressa still felt saddened by his reaction.Family
