| - Yoshihira (義平, Yoshihira), currently known as Rikuō Akikage (秋影陸王, Akikage Rikuō) by a rather limited number of the populace, is a travelling merchant and Blacksmith specializing in the trading of weapon-based goods, from simple tools such as Kunai to highly complex and specialized Swords of his own creation. Due to the relatively minor scale that his wares are selling at, Yoshihira has temporarily allied himself with Měiyì and her large-scale criminal organization as both a mercenary and merchant on two different fronts, giving him a vast quantity of revenue and information to further his goals. As a mercenary, Yoshihira operates with the alias of Kumawaka (熊若, Kumawaka).

Although his current reputation is, by all means, deplorable, Yoshihira had not always been a man of such humility. Although born into the prestigious founders of Takumi Village — the Seimei — as the sixth son of Yasuna and a Takigakure Priestess, Yoshihira was a dejected tool in the eyes of his father, leading him to be taken care of by his retainers, Kirin Tsurizai and later, Hakaze Tamadare. Eventually, through a series of political ventures in which he completely remodeled and revived Takumi Village's morale and livelihood, he was named its Village Head (里長, Sato-osa). Across his glory days, Yoshihira's prowess as a blacksmith and leader would eventually leave him renowned as the Heavenly Builder (天の上帝, Ama no Jōtei), a title none other has ever been crowned since he fell off the radar of Shinobi and Samurai. What lead Yoshihira to his current state is the calamity regarded as war. Across the Land of Rivers, its various Shinobi villages had shattered their alliances, causing escalating tensions between them that would leave Takumi Village destroyed in the crossfire. Accordingly, Yoshihira expended all of the village's resources to migrate his villagers as refugees across the world, leaving him without even a single ryō of his own, and thus forcing him to travel across the world under the guise of a merchant, so-as-to not warrant pursuers from notable villages who would take undue advantage of his skills. However, not all is helpless for the man who has overcome all of his opposition time and time again. The man's true goal is to revive Takumi Village, but not as a village, but as an empire. His intention by travelling as an exclusive merchant for Shinobi countries is to gather the influence and resources necessary to bring his former villagers underneath his banner once again, subsequently monopolizing the market of Shinobi-exclusive produce. This feat will enable him and his village immunity from the ravages of war forever, all the while fulfilling his goal of "shaking the roots of the world" for his own profit.
