Carol McCauley was a human female, and an unseen character mentioned in the Red Dwarf television series. McCauley was a crewmember of unknown rank and position aboard the JMC mining spaceship Red Dwarf, killed in the radiation leak in the pilot episode. Three million years later, Lister went through Rimmer's diary, and found that Rimmer had wrote secret love letters to McCauley (presumably undelivered). One such letter read: "Your eyes are like two limpid pools of loveliness, your hair is like a golden waterfall. Plus those short skirts you wear make me really horny." ("Stasis Leak", Series II)
