By 2258, he was the chief engineer of the ISS Enterprise. After Commander James T. Kirk took control of the Narada and mutinied against Captain Spock, Scott was ordered to fire weapons at the ISS Enterprise and destroy it. Over the objections of Nyota Uhura, he did so. (TOS comic: "Mirrored, Part 1") Scott was later killed by Uhura before he could send red matter to the surface of Vulcan. (TOS comic: "Mirrored, Part 2")
