| - "No. I give no order I am unwilling to carry out myself. Have the smith brought here."
- "I know the law, Hugo. So be it."
- "I'll see it done, my [lord/lady]."
- "I'll see to the beheading, my [lord/lady]."
- "Turner requested only the smith's head, so that's what we'll send."
- "Justice demands the blacksmith pays for desertion. And if not justice, my [lord/lady], Lord Turner will insist on it."
- "Once Turner has what he wants, give the body to his wife to bury."
- "For desertion, it will likely be a beheading, my [lord/lady]."
- "That's fine, but he'll answer to me as well. Am I not [lord/lady] here?"

- "I make an example here, Ser Hugo. he'll pay in pain before we turn him over."
- "Rot Lord Turner and his smithy woes, now on my doorstep! Free the man."
- "Turner's fugitive deserter is now my prisoner. His justice, now mine to deliver."
- Ser Hugo is slow to answer. "Aye, my [lord/lady]. I...know someone who'll see it done."
- "Lest you forget, Hugo, this is my house and in it, my law. Let him run, as far as he can from here."
- "I know. Take the smith to Turner, then. He can punish him how he sees fit."
