Alexander Emerick "Alex" Jones (born February 11, 1974) is an American Senator, Political activist, and former US Marine. Born into poverty in the Republic of Texas, Alex moved to the United States of America when he was 18. Joining the US Marine Corps in order to receive American citizenship, Jones soon fell in love with the American way of life. After serving for eight years Alex retired from the Marine Corps in order to enter politics. After several defeats, he won a US Senate seat as a Libertarian in 2008 for himself, representing his home state of Kentucky. Known for his firm stance on Anti-Globalism, Immigration and Low Taxes, he has become a well known Maverick in Washington DC.
