  • By the time of the Bane Crisis, Flire had been the apprentice of Desdemon Charel for many years and was deemed ready for his trials for Knighthood. However, when Master Thame Cerulian approached Desdemon, after the death of his Padawan Seth Khaleb, asking for help in killing Sith Lord Darth Sharka, Desdemon agreed to go with him, taking Flire with her to Neimodia. Along with a team of other notable Jedi, Flire infiltrated Sharka's palace on Neimodia and engaged the Sith Lord. However, things went badly and Sharka took down numerous Jedi, including Desdemon who he almost killed. Seeing his master fall, Flire attempted to kill Sharka alone, dueling the Sith Lord, who stabbed him through the chest, killing him instantly. Desdemon would always regret taking Flire with her to Neimodia.
