McCall's 7384.. honeycomb and pleated smocking used in these aprons and skirts is easy to do.. tassels, accenting smocked points are quickly made; 2 from an unopened skein of six strand embroidery cotton.. Apron A of 1/4" check gingham is cut on bias.. Apron B and skirts C of 1 inch check gingham are cut on straight in one piece thus eliminating side seams on skirt.. skirt waist sizes are regulated by number of checks counted as specified.. 5 waist sizes 24 to 28 inches and old sizing size 9 to 16.. .. C short skirt needs 4 pearlized hammer on type snap fasteners for back opening.. and C long skirt needs zip for back opening.. long skirt 38 inches long from waist and short skirt 27 inches. dated 1964.
