| - Ash caught Sceptile as a Treecko in the Petalburg Forest. It evolved to Grovyle after beating Brawly, and finally to Sceptile after managing to Stop Kyogre.
- Glalie was captured when it was a Snorunt. It evolved to Glalie on the Gym Battle against Norman.
- Ash captured Fearow when it was A Spearow at Route 1, it Evolved in the Silph Co. Events, Fearow do not Obey Ash if it not see the Battle as "Tough".
- Pinsir was captured when Ash's Metapod got captured by a Beedrill, for replacing it with, but although Metapod was rescued, Pinsir is still used for many tough Battles.
- Teddiursa was Captured on Azelea Town. After that, it was never seen until the fourth Chapter, when it had to Battle with Roxanne's Nosepass and evolved to Ursaring.
- Ash received Quilava when it was Cyndaquil from Prof.Elm, it evolved in the Bugsy Gym Battle to defeat Scyther, it is very Trustable and strong.
- Charmander met on Bill's Lighthouse, when Bill decided to gave the S.S Ticket to Ash. Then Bill decided to gave Charmander to Ash. It have problems with Lt. Surge. Ash used it on the Orange Archipelago, and as well in the Johto League Gold Conference.
- Pikachu is Ash's first Pokémon, it was eating the electricity of the Ketchum's House, so Ash caught it using Delia's Mr. Mime.
