STOP Supporters, While I am sure everyone has heard by now that House Bill 39 passed the House of Representatives and is headed to the Governor for his signature, you can be assured that I will continue to fight for the total ELIMINATION of the property tax. If you will recall, House Bill 39 was a property tax relief bill, but it did not go far enough in relief, which is why I voted against it. The STOP proposal shifts taxes in order to totally eliminate the property tax and I will continue to fight for that end. Senator Sean Logan (D) Allegheny/Westmoreland Counties

Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your tireless efforts in getting the word out about the benefits of the STOP proposal. Your efforts enabled the Senate to take a vote on the STOP plan several months ago. Even though it was defeated, I am asking you to keep up your hard work in getting the word out.
