When you want to leave, check to make sure that you have some food then leave the lava maze and go through the gate, from there you can go down the ladder into the KBD dungeon and teleport out. Alternatively, you can run to the teleporter where you will be randomly teleported to any one of various locations in the wilderness. There is a risk of teleporting into a mutlipk zone however you can also teleport into a low wildy level enabling you to immediately teleport out.
