Bob Plager (b. March 11th 1943 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional defenseman who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers and the St. Louis Blues. Plager was one of the hardest hitter of the NHL at his time; he and his brother Barclay Plager formed a feared defense pair that helped the Blues reach the Stanley Cup finals twice during the team's first two seasons. In 644 NHL games through his career, Plager scored 20 goals and added 126 assists for 146 points; he spent 802 minutes in the penalty box.
