The Unnamed Indian was a Najaho indian that was presumable slaughtered before Jed Stone's founding of Slaughter Gulch. During Carnby's exploration, his ghost gives Carnby helpful hints and even directly helps him by levitating Carnby across lava to a rock pillar that was too far away. When Carnby died, and reincarnated into a snow leopard, the indian told him how to become human again which also involved getting the indian relic, the golden bird, which was stolen from the Indians.
