Grigore Vasilescu is a Non-Commissioned Officer serving in the UNSC Marine Corps who served throughout the Human-Covenant War, and in many of the Post-War conflicts against resurgent Insurrectionist forces and Covenant Remnant factions. After so many years of service, Vasilescu has mostly avoided making personal connections with those under his command, wishing to avoid the grief of losing a friend after having lost so many already.
