Pokemon VolcanoFireRed Version (ポケットモンスター火山ファイアレッドPocket Monsters Volcanofirered) and Pokemon ForestLeafGreen Version (ポケットモンスターフォレストリーフグリーンPocket Monsters Forestleafgreen) are a pair of main series Generation V games that are set in the Kanto region. By nature these games are remakes of the pair of Pokemon games, Pokemon FireRed & Leafgreen, and so feature all of the characters, plot elements, and challenges of them, but with several important upgrades to bring them up to speed with other Generation V games. Despite the fact that outside of Japan, Red Version was paired with Blue Version ForestLeafGreen might see release internationally. There was an idea of "Pokémon OceanWaterBlue Version" or "LakeWaterBlue Version", however, indicating that this renaming might be considered.
