In 2379, the Bloodlust was on patrol near the Klingon-Romulan border. She received a distress call from Listening Post 4634, which was under Romulan attack, and diverted course to investigate. The Bloodlust was the second starship to arrive in the area, and joined the IKV Fang in engaging the attackers. The Fang had been closer to the listening post and was already badly damaged, so the captain of the Bloodlust sent out a second distress call. The younger son of General Mi'Qogh arrived to assist, and with his help, the Romulan attackers were repelled, at the cost of the Fang. Both Mi'Qogh's son and the captain of the Bloodlust were puzzled that the Romulans had launched an unprovoked attack into Klingon space.

The Bloodlust was later stationed near Unity One when the starbase was attacked by Jureth's rogue forces. She assisted in destroying the freighters that had been loaded with explosives and offered assistance to the starbase after the attack was repelled. (TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)
