Tiria Wildlough, the main protagonist of The Quean and the Rhulain, was born to Sabine Wildlough and Banjon Wildlough in the Autumn of the Silver Shadows. She's the younger sister of Swiftrudder Wildlough. The day she was born was both one of the best and worst days of Banjon's life because it was the same day Sabine died. Sabine died while giving birth to Tiria. Tiria grew up never knowing she had an elder sister because Banjon never spoke of her, he thought Swiftrudder had died and it hurt him to speak about it.
