About: Chieftain (H5)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

The chieftain is one of the upgrades of the slayer, the fifth-level creature of the Stronghold in the Heroes of Might and Magic V expansion, Tribes of the East. The other upgrade is the executioner. While the executioner has better attack, and its skills will allow it to do more damage and lower the morale of enemies, the chieftain can make friendly units act more quickly. When they're paired with decent stacks of strong creatures, like cyclopses, hastening their turns can let these stacks do far more damage. If stronger stacks are not available, the executioner may be the better choice.
