The Wars of Ascendancy were a group of conflicts and the name given to a period in the pre-Atlantean ancient world, which came to result in the destruction of several states and the ultimate union of several. By the final battle of the Wars of Ascendency, the main figure in these events was King Amilanius of the Idloatean Kingdom, who would unite his allies and opponents in a political entity which came to be known as Al-Antidia, becoming its first Divine Sovereign.
