  • Dazed is an emotion available in The Sims 4. Being Dazed lowers the rate at which any skill is earned, will give the Sim a unique, slow walking mode and will overall be slower at accomplishing any tasks. The Sim may get dazed if he/she loses a fight, gets abducted, gets electrocuted, drinks too much Coffee, or uses medicine while not ill.
  • A dazed creature is unable to run, attack, and cast spells, and it can not actively use feats and skills. They can still defend themselves however.
  • The creature is unable to act normally. A dazed creature can take no actions, but has no penalty to AC. A dazed condition typically lasts 1 round.
  • Status Misc.gif|(Monster) Status_Misc_Player.gif|(Player/Pet/Guest) If you (the Player) are dazed and you do not act for a turn, then all Pet and Guest attacks deal 0% Stats damage during that turn.
  • Some unit's/building's special abilities will temporarily allow a unit to be summoned within a certain radius without being affected by the sickness. This Ability is called Rally .
  • | Image:Dazed.jpg | style="padding-left: 10px;" | Condition. While Dazed, you take twice as long to cast Spells, and all your Spells are easily interrupted. |}
  • Since a dazed creature is unable to do many tasks, it is likely to have an empty action queue, hence be flat-footed.
  • In Round 1, after viewing the 3 video clips, Emily buzzes in, but Beau does not respond. She says, "Beau, aren't you going to call on me?" She continues to buzz in, as they wonder what is wrong with him. Beau continues to have a dazed look on his face. They all yell, "Beau, wake up!" and he finally comes around. He apologizes, saying that he didn't get much sleep and was in a daze. Phil then buzzes in and defines Daze as "unable to think or react properly...to be kind of out of it, just like you were Beau!" (I'm not sure why Emily didn't act upset that Phil beat her out, since she had buzzed in first.)
  • So...what happens when you are defeated in combat? Every character has a Health reserve. When your Health goes to zero, you are knocked out (or "Dazed" as we say in-game). When you are Dazed, you can't use any ring skills, but you can move around (slowly). You can only recover from being Dazed by releasing your life energy to reform within the Null Chamber, or by having an ally use a ring with the Awaken ability on you. (One such ring is the "Ring: Defibrillate".)

(One such ring is the "Ring: Defibrillate".) Are there any other penalties for being Dazed? Yes. When you first recover from being Dazed, you will only be able to use a couple of your rings (out of eight). The other slots unlock over time as your lifeforce (G'hi) energy recovers from being Dazed.

(I'm not sure why Emily didn't act upset that Phil beat her out, since she had buzzed in first.) In the bonus round, Phil chooses picture number 2, which is incorrect. The correct picture for Dazed is #3, which features The Butcher who was dazed after being defeated by WordGirl. Phil says that he meant to say 3, but must have been in a daze.
