| - Tom Cox is a former NASCAR driver from Asheboro, NC. He competed in forty-four Sprint Cup Series events in his career, all coming in 1962 and 1963. He earned three top-fives and twenty top-tens in his career, bested by a fourth at Myrtle Beach in 1962. 1962 was also his better year pointswise, ending the year 18th in the final standings.
