Amanda Barrow/ real name Juliet Tippon was a South-African assassin who worked for her own government before she decided to freelance, selling her services to anyone who needed them. At some point, the North Koreans contacted Barrow/Tippon to kill rogue assassin Lee Wuan Kai. Tippon entered the U.S under the name "Amanda Barrow" and later befriended NCIS Agent Timothy McGee, with the two forming a temporary relationship of some sort. Unfortunately, the relationship turned sour when Tippon/Barrow threatened McGee as she believed that he knew where Kai was.
