| - One of the most fearsome creations ever devised by the Cult of Shadow, the terencor, as its name implies, is a combination of the genetic strains of the terentatek and the rancor melded together and twisted through Sith Alchemy to become a living assault weapon. The beasts are the brainchild of one the most prominent alchemists in the cult, Uvon Okdoro, who created the first prototypes on the cult world of Maedes. Taller than AT-AT Walkers, with a tail that makes them twice as long, the terencor is faster and more maneuverable than the Imperial attack craft without sacrificing any durability. Energy weapons up to laser cannon power have no effect on the warbeasts, although a turbolaser barrage from orbit can take them out. Their ability to resist energy attacks includes being immune to the deadly power of the lightsaber. The terencors’ teeth and claws can rip through durasteel armor with ease and their raw strength means that they can tear apart most obstacles that get in their way. Their whiplike tails are very flexible and can be used to attack faster or more maneuverable targets. They can also spew forth blasts of molten lava, which has a wide area of coverage, but not much distance. Perhaps more terrifying is that terencors are highly resistant to the Force, thanks to their terentatek DNA. Not only do they have little to fear from Force powers, but it also means that they can’t be influenced by enemy mind tricks. In order to make them controllable by the Cult of Shadow, the terencors are semi-sentient so that they can recognize and obey commands from cult members. A terencor that hasn’t been issued a command will go on a rampage. Despite being weapons of war, an odd side-effect of the terencors possessing terentatek DNA means that it is speculated that the beasts can live up to 100 years or more, although it currently remains only a theory.
