| - Skeleton mages are monsters found in the Waterfall dungeon.
- Skeleton Mages are enemies introduced in Diablo II, quite different from the average Skeletons that wield earthly weapons. These undead creatures damage their enemies by shooting elemental energies from their hands. Skeleton mages can only wield one type of elemental magic: fire, lightning, cold, or poison. By looking at glow of their hands, one can tell which element they wield.
- Skeleton mage is a rare type of skeleton, possessed by an unknown type of demon and able to use magic. Not nearly as powerful as arcane horrors, but far more dangerous than other skeletons. Only encountered in the West Brecilian Forest Revenant battle and during the Return to Ostagar.
- Skeleton Mage is an enemy in Sinjid Shadow of the Warrior that appears during the Monster Portal.

- Level 16 mages usually attack with melee and will occasionally cast a spell, exclaiming "I infect your body with rot..." that resembles Weaken as a projectile and Curse when it lands successfully. If successful, it will lower the player's Attack, Strength and Defence stats by a 4 levels. Level 83 mages cast fire spells, and will sometimes use the Vulnerability spell on a player. - Skeleton Mages are monsters found in some of the more troubled areas of RuneScape. They primarily use Magic to attack. Thus, it is recommended to wear magic-resistant armour such as dragonhide armour. They play a role in the Swan Song quest, where the player creates an army of them to help defeat the sea trolls. Level 19 skeleton mages cast earth spells and will sometimes cast the Weaken spell on a player. They also occasionally use a melee attack.
