Schafer himself appeared with Cookie Monster in three pre-release trailers for the game. Shafer worked at LucasArts for ten years before founding Double Fine in 2000. Since then, his company has developed Brütal Legend, Costume Quest and Stacking for the PlayStation and Xbox systems.
