It is part of the Orlando Centroplex, a sports and entertainment complex located in Downtown Orlando. The last day of operation of the facility was on September 30, 2010 as arena operations moved to the new Amway Center. According to Orlando Magic President Alex Martins, Amway Arena is expected to be demolished before the end of 2011.
