Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a nonprofit organization that trains volunteers who are then appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of an abused and neglected child in court. Fairfax CASA was established in 1989. Fairfax CASA recruits, screens, trains and supports lay volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court proceedings.
