He makes one appearance in Jabba's Palace and is one of Jabba's Personal Friends. He has you kill Sennex Pirates in a cave about 1000 meters away from Jabba's Palace. He in many opinions looks like a Hippo with a very long nose. Ephant Mon is not the last of his species for if he was he would have other plans then Jabba's Palace. Chevin's are very interesting creatures. It is not known whether his species are in the Star Wars Movies but Ephant Mon has been briefly seen in some scenes in the six movies.

This gave them the ability to graze while keeping a watchful eye out for predators. Some Chevin had large facial tusks which impeded their vocal abilities. The body of a Chevin was covered by thick, grey skin that allowed them to tolerate a wide range of temperatures. This helped them survive the seasonal migrations they made across their homeworld.
