Ralisek is one of the dead, now 'living' in Necromundus. In life, he hosted the same name, and much of his same appearance, his story began when he was taken from his family at a young age to be instated into a mercenary guild, where the young kids would grow and live for years later, and eventually become elite units which often served as a makeshift military for the land's borders. However, the guild was oppressive on the students, allowing little room for emotion and kindness, two attributes that could put a mercenary in danger. Although Ralisek was one of the top students, he fled the guild's restricting walls and headed south, where he started a new life, though, sticking to his old profession. The guild, infuriated at the thought of any runaway, sent patrols, scouts, and monsters after him. For years and years he evaded their clutches, but eventually, he could run no longer. After fighting numerous amounts of the guild's seasoned warriors, he raised his own sword against him, ending his own life with a single thrust. When he awoke, he found himself in Necromundus.
