- A type of link connecting the handles of a nunchaku. Generaly used with a chain link. often essentual for a smooth flowing routine with chained nunchaku the ball bearing system provides a smooth glide. This means you could spin one handle for a long time without the chain having to uncoid as tension grows which can lead to arratic and unexpected behaviour; as such giving a smoother display and minimalising risk of getting harmed or injured.
