Mk VII Defense Gates (also called GF Gate Mk VII) are found in the rooms Dynamo Chamber and Trooper Security Station. They are made out of Denzium and can be destroyed by Power Bombs. They are activated by Interface Modules only, as opposed to the Mk VI Gate, which also requires the deactivation of locks. In the latter room, once activated the gate will repeatedly open a little and shut quickly on the ground, dealing damage to Samus. On return visits it will be locked until Samus destroys it with a Power Bomb.
