When she was 18, she was second in a look-alike contest, where she superstar Carola imitated. After having won Fame Factory, she released a debut album in the largest Swedish schlager record. Like many finalists from talent competitions did Sandra participated in the preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest , but not in their own country where the competition is fierce, but in Estonia , she won Eurolaul big favorite for Ines on Through my window that sounds very Swedish. The song was written by Paul Pearu, Ilmar Laisaar, Alar Kotkas (composers) and Jana Hallas (lyricist). They are not to their song contest spurs, they wrote earlier Once in a Lifetime ( 2000 ) and Runaway ( 2002 ), which was 4th and 3rd respectively. This time they had less luck, Sandra had to play just after the Swedish Carola who gave the best of themselves.Sandra's song was in the same genre, and was outclassed by Sweden, she was 18th.
