Batman: Black and White was a series of conceptual Batman stories published first as their own title in a four-issue miniseries, and then later as a backup feature in "Batman: Gotham Knights." The initial series contained five stories per issue, roughly 8-pages each, while "Gotham Knights" contained one at the end of every comic. Three Trade Paperbacks were published, the first collecting the miniseries, the second collecting the stories from "Gotham Knights #1-16" along with five additional new ones, and the third collecting stories from "Gotham Knights #17-49."
