- The Dragon's Eye was a fabulous gem or orb found in Lake Annen several years after the death of Smaug. The Northmen believed it to have been one of Smaug's eyes and thought the stone's fabulous glance came from Udunaur, or "Hellfire", enclosed within. The Stone was purchased by King Thranduil who ordered his Mirdain to find out the stone's true origin.
- The Dragon's Eye was a beautiful, mystical jewel with the power to awaken an evil Dragon Spirit. It was discovered by the pirate Pequeño on his travels.
- The Dragon's Eye is a power that synchronizes with the spirits of all things, thus it gives it user a type of prescience that allowed him/her to see anywhere past, present, possible futures, as well as seeing and hearing the dead. Dragon's Eye can also be used to make astral project and psychometry, it has been known to overwhelm untrained users by bringing their unbridled instincts to new heights. The Dragon's Eye is known for its capacity to consume chakra indefinitely, so sustaining it too long can cause the user to lose consciousness.

- Martin and other boys played with their marbles at Springfield Elementary. Martin was talking too much, so Nelson punched him and Dragon's Eye rolled away to a mysterious figure in the shadow of a large oak tree. The figure ducked and threw Dragon's Eye away, revealing himself as Milhouse.
- Yorae Dragon's Eyes are able to see the future. Ryu being half of the Yorae being has one of the eye's power and Fou-lu has the other half. In the game, after reuniting with Cray, Ryu's Dragon Eye causes Ryu, Nina and Cray to have a dream of finding where Nina's sister is, only for it to end just after a certain point (this is believed to be foreshadowing of a later event), Ershin points out that it was Ryu's Dragon Eye that showed them the vision.
- Image:Dragons Eye.gif The Dragon's Eye is found and made use of in Fuchin Falls Cave in Golden Sun. It is an important item which is descibed as "a shining red jewel with flames inside." It is placed into a dragon statue to guide players to the back of the cave, where the Orb of Force is held. Neither the Dragon's Eye nor the Orb of Force is required to beat the game, although players who wish to obtain all the Djinn through a linked game may wish to do so.

- Dragon's Eyes are uncut gems that are primarily used to produce socketable gems that may only be used by that jeweler. Dragon's Eyes can only be acquired from a high level jewelcrafter. The most common way is for the jeweler to turn in one to Tiffany Cartier in Dalaran for one Dragon's Eye. Jewelers can also create an every 20 hours which has approximately a 10% chance to contain a Dragon's Eye. Dragon's Eyes are also a reagent to other epic jewelcrafting necklaces and rings that are bind on equip.
