  • The observation deck is a location on board Mothership Zeta.
  • After barricading himself inside the watchtower, he asked Cindy Lennox to let his remaining comrades know that he was safe. According to a file found, Austin is the owner of the Hunting Rifle found in the Observation deck. It may be possible he survived the Raccoon Zoo incident at least due to Patrick and Lloyd commenting on how he could handle the current situation when the player talks to them after talking to Austin. However, this is unconfirmed.
  • It is from this location that James Sunderland begins his journey in Silent Hill 2. There are no items of interest in this location except for a town map, which he can retrieve from his parked car, and a Blue Gem by one of the restroom stalls, which can be found during a replay to get the game's secret UFO Ending. During James's layover in the town, County Road 73 is closed to travelers.
  • During the first encounter with the Nakai species' mothership, members of the crew watched the ensuing fighter battle from the observation deck. (SGU: "Space") When the crew began to hallucinate, Chloe Armstrong went to the deck with an image of her father. Eager at the chance to reconnect in any way, she sat at the bar, talking with him and was very reluctant to leave, despite knowing full-well he was a hallucination. (SGU: "Pain")
  • Players can 'pay to play' Observation Deck from level 90 onward, where they can choose to pay with crystals (which will need to be bought with real money) to unlock the Picture early, rather than waiting until they reach level 92 and unlock it for free, through normal game play. Once the timed challenges are complete or when the timer runs out (whichever happens first), the Tokens can only be won in Crashed Plane and Mayan Temple. Tokens could not be gifted between Friends, however 5 Travel Time collections give them as rewards for combining. From the Diary:
  • The Observation Deck is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Found just off the main square in Hyrule Castle Town, the Observation Deck is a circular building leading out to a small deck overlooking the square, and Hyrule Castle. Several Gorons have taken over the building to use as a shop. The setup of this shop is different than the others, as talking to a specific Goron will allow Link to purchase a certain item, such as Lantern Oil, or a Red Potion. They also mark their prices up 10 Rupees for each item, justifying this action with "Regional Pricing", though their prices on Red Potion and Arrows are more reasonable than those of Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium.
  • The observation deck was an area of some starships. On Constitution-class ships, the observation deck overlooked the flight deck. In 2256, Ensign Logan was ordered to report to the observation deck aboard the USS Discovery. (DIS: "Lethe") In 2266, this location on the Constitution-class USS Enterprise was visited by Captain Kirk and Lenore Karidian, as Kirk conducted Lenore on a tour of the ship. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King" )
  • An Observation deck was a location often found on Starships and Space stations, containing a viewport, where the crew could directly observe the surrounding environment. It could also be referred to as an Observation dome, Observation blister, or Observation platform. Some stations and larger starships had purpose-built observation decks, but often, smaller spacecraft lacked a dedicated observation deck and utilized the cockpit for the same function. The observation deck was fundamentally a form of passive sensor collection.

Some stations and larger starships had purpose-built observation decks, but often, smaller spacecraft lacked a dedicated observation deck and utilized the cockpit for the same function. The observation deck was fundamentally a form of passive sensor collection. Notable locations include the Emperor's throne room on board the first and second Death Star, the surgery suite on board the Redemption, and the General's quarters atop of the Wizard's Tower on board the Invisible Hand.

(TOS: "The Conscience of the King" ) In 2268, the same Enterprise was detailed to transport delegates to the Babel Conference. A number of dignitaries lined the observation deck to see the reception of the Vulcan delegation. Later during that voyage, Ambassador Sarek made use of the observation deck for meditation. (TOS: "Journey to Babel" ) In the 26th century of an alternate timeline, an observation deck aboard the USS Enterprise-J had a large window that showed a view of space. When Temporal Agent Daniels brought 22nd century Starfleet Captain Jonathan Archer through time to the Enterprise-J during the Battle of Procyon V, the observation deck was where they met.
