When the Smurfs find about this, they write letters for their cousins and send Postman Smurf with the mail. Postman Smurf hides in a human carriage to reach the other village, but the carriage drops a flute and a basket containing a snake. Two Smurfs of the other village find the flute and play it, but it awakens the snake, who follows them to their village and causes panic until that village's Smurfs find that the music calms the snake.
