| - La “Midway Space Station” è una stazione spaziale situata tra la via lattea e la galassia di Pegaso, utilizzata come stazione di pasaggio per il “McKay-Carter Intergalactic Gate Bridge”Strutturalmente, la stazione è costruita attorno a due stargate. Al suo interno è situato un “Gate Room”, letteralmente stanza dello stargate.Sono presenti stanza isolate per vari utilizzi, dislocati su due piani. Sono presenti una stanza degli armamenti e una stanza per il controllo situato al secondo piano.Causa vicinanza tra i gate, i due stargate non possono comporre contemporaneamente. In altre stanze, è situata una piccola area abitativa per il personale della base ed eventuali viaggiatori.Sono presenti anche dei portelloni per i “Puddle Jumper”, utilizzati per lo più in caso di evacuazione.Il ponte intergalattico è stato completato nel 2006, a quell’epoca la stazione spaziale consisteva in una piccola struttura nuda attua a bloccare due stargate. Per viaggiare tra le galassie era obbligatorio l’uso di piccole astronavi, come i Puddle Jumper.Quando gli Asuran presero il controllo di Atlantis, per evitare l’apertura del gate verso della terra il Generale Hank Landry ordinò la distruzione della stazione tramite una testata Mark IX. Il piano di invasione degli Asuran per fortuna sfumò e la stazione fu completata.Nel tardi 2007, la stazione fu completata e il supporto vitale attivato. Lo stadio finale della costruzione fu supervisionato dal colonnello Samantha Carter e il dottore Bill Lee. Durante questa fase, la gravità artificiale non funzionò, ma riuscirono a ripararla.Sono possibili comunicazioni in tempo reale tra la stazione e la galassia di pegaso.
