Amico was a small, male puppy who was originally owned by an abusive master. He was then rescued by Ben and Ned, the latter of which attacked the man. The two, however, saved him at the expense of his owner learning their plan, and later revealing it to Al Misurata. His name originated from when he repeatedly called Ned "amico", the Italian word for friend. This was the only word he spoke. Ben later heard this when close to the puppy.
