- Greninja (Japanese: ゲッコウガ Gekkouga) is a dual-type Water/Dark Pokémon. It evolves from Frogadier starting at level 36. It is the final form of Froakie.
- Froakie lived a pretty happy life with Sycamore until he was dumped off on our favorite "hero" who had arrived in Kalos with a new posse. Froakie suffered through his bumbling owner's pointless journey and couldn't wait to be sent to Professor Oak to be forgotten. It later evolved into Frogadier and finally into Greninja. Together, they discovered a new process of Mega Evolution Called Bond Phenominon

- Greninja(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Water-type/Dark-type Pokémon that made its first appearance in the sixth generation games X and Y. It is the final evolution of Froakie. It is also playable in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. In Sun and Moon, it has a new form called Ash-Greninja, activated after defeating an enemy.
- Greninja, like its previous evolution, has the body style of a frog. In this form, it now resembles Toxicroak and has gained the appearance of a ninja. It is dark blue in color and has its tongue wrapped around its neck like a scarf in place of the bubbles found on Froakie and Frogadier.
- Greninja has only appeared in one Pokémon generation, the sixth one. It cannot be caught in the wild, making it obligatory to evolve Frogadier or trade. In the competitive Pokémon scene, Greninja is top tier thanks to its speed and its Hidden Ability Protean, which makes it change its own type to the attack it is using, giving its attacking moves a boost.
