  • Javier Vachon remembers aiding the native populations against incursions by settlers during Queen Anne's Campaign. In particular, he preyed on the settlers by night. Vachon is one of the people who signed the treaty on behalf of the Mississauga Indians through which the tribe ceded land to the British. The treaty was mislaid for years until located by Gary Blackwing. However, he did not actually show it to anyone; and, when he hid it again and it was lost by his death, it was considered apocryphal. The treaty was finally recovered by Nick. In the court case, it is considered to be the key evidence in the Mississauga land claim case.
